This place is absolutely amazing! It's like a home away from home - cozy, well-equipped, and close to everything in the stunning Peak District. The super king size bed was mind-blowingly comfortable, and the welcome pack with snacks and wine was a super nice touch. The cottage is perfect for able-bodied individuals, although the steep stairs can be a hilarious workout. The kitchen has everything you need, and the quaint garden seating area is perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee. The location is fantastic, despite being on a main road with some early morning traffic. the accommodation is beautiful, well-located, and packed with thoughtful touches. We would definitely visit again!

The Quirky Stairs: As I made my way up the steep, slippy stairs at Holly Cottage, I couldn't help but imagine myself on an adventure in an ancient castle. It added an extra touch of charm to the property and made me feel like a character in a whimsical fairytale.

our long term stay in matlock was absolutely amazing thanks to a cozy cottage that made us feel right at home. the bed was incredibly comfortable and the location was perfect for exploring the peak district. we loved the welcome pack and evenings spent cooking and relaxing.

The fully stocked kitchen was a blessing, we had everything we needed to cook a delicious festive meal. The location was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. The steep stairs in the cottage were quite challenging, especially for older guests. It would have been better if there was a handrail or something to assist with going up and down.
